Hands-on Labs at BlackBerry World
New for 2012, access to the Hands-on Labs was free for all BlackBerry World™ attendees! Our attendees had the opportunity to get first-hand experience with the latest in BlackBerry® solution software. BlackBerry Training and Support experts were available to assist as participants worked through various exercises and problem-solving scenarios.
The Hands-on Labs were open during the following times:

Participants had the opportunity to configure the Universal Device Software to set up Android and iOS5 devices in an enterprise environment. Lab activities included:

Participants had the opportunity to install and manage users in the BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Studio. Lab activities included:

BlackBerry® Enterprise Server
This lab focused on administering BlackBerry smartphones using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. It included set-up and activation as well as the following Hands-on Lab topics:
- Configure new user accounts
- Configure groups
- Manage user groups
- Configure activation settings
- Manage software configurations and deployment jobs
- Introduce BlackBerry Enterprise Server role based administration
- Administer BlackBerry Enterprise Server security feature

BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System (BlackBerry® MVS)
This lab introduced learners to the BlackBerry MVS. Learners had an opportunity to:
- Create "BlackBerry MVS Users" group with the BAS Console
- Deploy Client to the device
- Assign a Wi-Fi® profile to the BlackBerry MVS Users group
- Activate various devices
- Identify installed BlackBerry MVS Services
- Log in to BlackBerry MVS Console
- Add BlackBerry MVS users with the BlackBerry MVS Console
- Confirm Enterprise Data connection via Wi-Fi
- Confirm BlackBerry MVS Provisioning on device
- Confirm BlackBerry MVS Registration on device
- Place an BlackBerry MVS enabled call
