1.Registration Terms and Conditions
The BlackBerry World™ conference (the "Conference") is hosted by Research
In Motion Corporation ("RIM"). By registering for the Conference you agree to be
bound by these terms and conditions.
Note: See www.blackberryworld.com for current available programs and schedules.
Conference program and event schedules are subject to change.
2.Substitutions, Cancellation and Refund Policies
Registration Substitutions and Changes: Registration substitutions and changes
to registration can be made up until 11:59pm EST on April 23, 2012, which
is five (5) business days prior to the start of the Conference. Substitutions for
individuals registered to attend the Conference and/or any associated ancillary
event (each, an "Event", collectively, the "Events") must be made
in writing and sent to the Registrar, as provided in section 10(C) below, by e-mail
at registration@blackberryconferences.net
no later than 11:59pm EST on April 23, 2012.
Registrants of Conference and/or any Events and Companion Pass holders (each, a
"Registrant", collectively, "Registrants") cannot "share" a Conference
pass.
Registration Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations must be made in writing
and sent to the Registrar by e-mail no later than 11:59pm EST on April 13, 2012
to receive a refund of the applicable portion of the fee. All Conference cancellations
made on or before 11:59pm EST on April 13, 2012, are subject to a cancellation fee
of $100.00 USD. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 11:59pm
EST on April 13, 2012. Registrants who have not cancelled on or before 11:59pm
EST on April 13, 2012 will be liable for the full applicable registration fee, and
must pay any outstanding balance within thirty (30) days of date of invoice.
No Shows: Pre-registered Registrants who do not notify the Registrar by phone
or email that they will not attend the Conference and do not cancel their registration
by 11:59pm EST on April 13, 2012 will be liable for the full registration fee and
will not receive a refund for amounts already paid.
Refund policy only applies to registration fees. Cancellation of travel reservations
and hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant. RIM and/or
Registrar will not be held responsible for any cancellation fees or surcharges,
including hotel cancellation fees, for Registrants who have made their own travel
arrangements (either with or without the assistance of Registrar).
In case of transmission difficulties or other technical problems related to registration
or emailed written notification to the Registrar, please call Registration Services
at 866-855-3789 (toll free) or 650-226-0791 (direct) or email
registration@blackberryconferences.net to notify the Registrar.
The RIM server or designated timekeeper shall be the official timekeeper for the
purposes of determining the timing of any registration or notification.
3.Conference Fees and Deadlines
To attend the Conference and/or Events, payment in full must be received by Registrar
within 30 days of your registration date. If payment is not received within 30 days
of your registration date your registration will be considered incomplete. RIM reserves
the right to review and cancel your registration if payment is not received in full
in accordance with these terms and conditions.
If payment in full is not received before arrival onsite, the balance of any and
all outstanding monies must be paid onsite at the Assisted Registration area before
entry to the Conference and/or Events will be permitted.

(A)BlackBerry World Conference Full Pass:
The BlackBerry World Conference Full Pass rate is $1,699.00 USD ("Onsite Conference
Fee").
BlackBerry World Conference Full Pass Holders (each, a "Full Conference Registrant")
are entitled to participate in the following:

Full Conference Pass Discounts:

Early Bird Discount: Full Conference Registrants, including Alumni-rate
Full Conference Registrants, who register for the Conference by 11:59pm EST on March
23, 2012 are eligible to receive a $300.00 USD Early Bird discount off the Onsite
Conference Fee.

Regular Rate Discount: Full Conference Registrants, including Alumni-rate
Full Conference Registrants, who register for the Conference between 12:00am EST
on March 24, 2012 and 11:59 am EST on April 29, 2012, are eligible to receive a
Regular Rate discount of $100.00 USD off the Onsite Conference Fee.
Note: The Early Bird discounts will be forfeited if payment in full is not received
by Registrar within 30 days of your registration date or by 11:59pm EST on April
19, 2012 whichever date occurs first.
(B)Business Development Pass:
The Business Development Pass rate is $299.00 USD ("Business Development Fee").
Business Development Pass Holders (each, a "Business Development Registrant")
are entitled to participate in the following:

of the fee difference between the Business Development Fee and the Full Conference
Fee in effect at the time of the requested upgrade.
Business Development Registrants may purchase On Demand access, a Companion Pass,
BlackBerry Training, Hands-on Labs and Certification, subject to the conditions
herein.
Business Development Passes do not qualify for the Early Bird Discount or Regular
Rate Discount.
(C)BlackBerry World Conference One Day Pass:
The BlackBerry World Conference One Day Pass rate is $599.00 USD ("One Day Fee").
BlackBerry World Conference One Day Pass Holders (each, a "One Day Registrant")
are entitled to participate in the following:

One Day Registrants may purchase a BlackBerry Party Pass, a Companion Pass, BlackBerry
Training and Certification, subject to the conditions herein.
Note: One Day Passes do not include access to ancillary events not listed as participation
entitlements in this Section 3(C), each of which must be purchased separately.
One Day Passes do not qualify for the Early Bird Discount or Regular Rate Discount.
4.Add-on Packages
(A)Companion Pass:
The Companion Pass rate is $199.00 USD.
A companion pass can only be purchased by Full Conference Registrants during the
registration process or at the Conference. Please note that companions are not permitted
to attend Conference keynotes, sessions, labs, or Certification exams. Companion
Passes are limited to one Companion Pass per Full Conference Registrant. Companions
must be 18 years old or older.
The Companion Pass includes access to the following during the Conference:

(B)Party Pass:
The Party Pass rate is $149.00 USD to attend the BlackBerry Party tentatively
scheduled for May 1, 2012. Party details and performers to be announced.
A Party Pass can be purchased by One Day Registrants during the registration process
or at the Conference. Party Passes are limited to one pass per Conference Registrant.
Party Passes are non-transferrable.
(C)BlackBerry Certification Exam:
A single BlackBerry Certification Exam fee is $75.00 USD.
NOTE: BlackBerry Certification Exam vouchers purchased for BlackBerry World are only
valid onsite during the BlackBerry World 2012 conference.
Certification Exams can only be purchased by Full Conference Registrants, Business
Development Registrants and One Day Registrants during the registration
process or onsite during the Conference, subject to availability. In the event a
Registrant cancels his/her Conference registration, the Conference organizers will
also cancel the Registrant's exam timeslot. No-shows, and any exam cancellations
made after 11:59pm EST on April 13, 2012, are subject to the full BlackBerry Certification
Exam fee.
Certification Exam registrants will receive an email from Registration Services
after they complete their registration and purchase the exam to sign-up for an exam
timeslot.
(D)BlackBerry Training:
The BlackBerry Training Pass fee is $1,249.00 USD.
BlackBerry Training Passes include two days of BlackBerry Training (Sunday and Monday),
a BlackBerry Certification Exam, and a Self Study guide. BlackBerry Training Passes
are available only to Full Conference Registrants, Business Development Registrants
and One Day Registrants, and may be purchased either during the registration process
or at the Conference, subject to availability.
Training Pass Discounts:

Early Bird Discount: BlackBerry Training Pass registrants who register
for a BlackBerry Training Pass by 11:59pm EST on March 23, 2012 are eligible to
receive a $150.00 USD Early Bird discount off the BlackBerry Training Pass Fee.
(E)On-Demand Portal:
Access to the BlackBerry World On-Demand Portal is $199.00 USD per user.
Business Development Registrants can purchase access to On-Demand, an online portal
for BlackBerry World Conference 2012 session content and sponsor information (the
"Portal"). The Portal will be accessible until the start of BlackBerry World
Conference 2013. RIM has the right at its sole discretion to restrict access to
any content in the Portal. Registrants' access to the Portal may also be restricted
if conference fees are not paid in full by launch of the Portal. The Portal is expected
to launch the week of the conference.
(F)Additional Add-On Packages Terms:
Registration add-on packages are fully refundable subject to the following conditions:

Refunds for add-on packages will be available only to Registrants whose registration
is canceled prior to 11:59pm EST on April 13, 2012.
-
"No-Shows" (Registrants who do not attend but do not cancel their registrations
in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 above) are not entitled to refunds
for add-ons.
-
Refunds will not be given if the add-on package has been opened or accessed.
-
Refunds will not be given after commencement of a BlackBerry Certification Exam.
5.Discount Programs
(A)Group Registration Program - Buy 2 passes get 1 free:
The Conference Group Registration Program offers three (3) Full Conference Passes
for the price of two (2) paid Full Conference Passes (inclusive of applicable Early
Bird and Alumni discounts) for Full Conference Registrants who are employed by the
same organization. The Free Pass Registrant must be employed by the same organization
as the two Full Conference Registrants relied upon to obtain the Group Free Pass.
The Conference Group Registration Program expires April 29, 2012 at 12:00pm EST.
The "No Show" policy stated in Section 2 above shall apply to the free pass ("Group
Free Pass") obtained under the Group Registration Program. The person registered
as the Group Free Pass holder will be subject to the Full Conference Pass Fee at
RIM's sole discretion if the Group Free Pass holder decides not to attend the Conference
but fails to cancel his or her Group Free Pass before 11:59pm EST on April 13, 2012.
Substitution of the individual registered as a Group Free Pass Holder is subject
to the replacement Group Free Pass Holder being employed by the same organization
as the original group Free Pass Holder, and to the Substitutions and Changes policy
above.
To participate in the Group Registrant Program, the person seeking the Group Free
Pass must call866-855-3789 (toll free) or 650-226-0791 (direct) from 9:00am
- 9:00pm EST Monday to Friday, or email the Registrar at
registration@blackberryconferences.net and provide the first and last names
and company names of the two (2) paid Full Conference Registrants. Registration
Services will provide instructions on how to redeem the Group Free Pass. No Full
Conference Registrant may participate in the Group Registration Program more than
once.
(B)Alumni Discount:
All fee-paying registrants of BlackBerry World 2011 qualify for the alumni discount
for BlackBerry World Conference 2012 except for those registrants who have outstanding
registration fees from BlackBerry World 2011. For qualified registrants, the alumni
discount of $200.00 USD will be deducted from the current registration price by
the registration system. To be recognized as a Conference alumni, and to be provided
with the discount, a registrant must use the same email address used to register
for BlackBerry World 2011. If registrant's email address has changed, the registrant
can call Registration Services at 866-855-3789 (toll free) or 650-226-0791 (direct)
from 9:00am -9:00pm EST Monday to Friday, or email:
registration@blackberryconferences.net to update his/her account and receive
the Alumni Discount. Complimentary passes are not eligible for the alumni
discount.
6.Other BLACKBERRY WORLD Terms and Conditions
Program Events and Presentations:
(A)RIM reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make changes
to the Conference program. Every effort will be made to keep presentations and speakers
as represented. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution
of presentation topic(s) or speaker(s).
(B)In the event that the Conference has to be cancelled or changed
due to events beyond RIM's control, RIM will not be held liable to Registrants for
any damages, losses or costs incurred, including but not limited to transportation
and accommodation costs. RIM is not liable for changes in program date, content,
speakers or venue.
7.Participation
(A)RIM reserves the right to restrict participation in the Conference
and all associated ancillary events at its sole discretion.
(B)Registrants must have reached the age of majority in their respective
state, province or territory of residence in order to register for the Conference.
(C)For registrants who are public officials or employees of a government
department, ministry, agency or government-owned enterprise, you agree that your
participation in the Conference is for legitimate business purposes related to the
activities of your employer or the government department, ministry, agency or government-owned
enterprise that you represent, and that you have not been requested by any person
and have not offered to provide any business advantage or other benefit for or on
behalf of RIM as a condition of your participation in the Conference. It is expected
that you will attend plenary sessions, break-out sessions and other conference events
in order to benefit from the curriculum and the opportunity to learn about RIM and
its wireless products and solutions.
8.Release from Liability
(A)By attending the Conference, you agree to release and hold RIM, its
subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and representatives and each of their officers,
directors, agents, representatives and employees (each a "Released Party" and collectively,
"Released Parties"), harmless from any and all liability, losses or damages whatsoever
for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, except bodily injury or death to
the extent caused by a Released Party, arising from participation in or in connection
with the Conference.
(B)By agreeing to these Registration Conditions, you release and discharge
RIM and its service providers and their respective and their respective parent companies,
affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees
from any and all liability, losses or damages resulting from: (i) late, lost, delayed,
stolen, misdirected, incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible
communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone
system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer
malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii)
data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of registration
data; and (iv) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors
in any materials associated with the Conference; or (v) any liability for damage
to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading
information in connection with this Conference.
9.Consent to Use of Personal Information
RIM collects personal information during the registration process such as name,
mailing address, email address and credit card or other payment information in order
to collect registration fees and produce entrance badges for Registrants and otherwise
administer registration, participation and access to the Conference event(s). Independent
of RIM's collection of such information, Registrants attending the Conference may
wish to have exhibitors "scan" their entrance badges at the exhibitors' booth to
collect their personal information such as name, address, phone number and email.
By completing and submitting the information requested on the Conference Event Registration
form to RIM and/or its affiliated companies, you consent to the collection, use,
and disclosure of the information by RIM or its service providers on RIM's behalf:
(i) to administer registration, participation and access to the Conference event(s);
(ii) to contact you after the event(s) for event evaluation purposes and for subsequent
event notifications and registrations; (iii) for RIM's internal use, including without
limitation, to: (a) understand and meet your needs and preferences, (b) develop
new and enhance existing services and product offerings, (c) manage and develop
RIM's business and operations, and (d) to provide you with relevant information
on RIM and/or BlackBerry® products and/or services; and (iv) for the purposes
set out in
RIM's Privacy Policy which can be found at
http://www.blackberry.com/legal/privacy.shtml. Except as set out herein,
RIM will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing or
other secondary purposes, although RIM may disclose aggregated, non-identifying
data relating to the event for marketing or other purposes.
Registrants may access the Portal at www.blackberryworld.com. By requesting information
from third party vendors and sponsors through the Portal, Registrants consent to
use of their personal information for the purpose of "follow-up" contact by sponsors,
including but not limited to direct mail, phone calls or email messages. Once a Registrant's
badge is scanned and/or Registrant provides information to third parties through
the Portal, RIM does not have control over what the exhibitor may do with his/her
personal information. RIM encourages Registrants to check with individual vendors
and exhibitors regarding their specific privacy policies and purposes for collecting
Registrants' information when their badge is scanned at a booth. Any decision by
Registrant to share personal information with any vendor/exhibitor is the sole responsibility
of the Registrant. RIM is not responsible for information provided by Registrants
to vendors and/or exhibitors at any Conference Event or through the Portal nor is
RIM liable for anything done by vendors and/or exhibitors with such information.
10.General
(A)RIM may film, photograph or audio record portions of the Conference,
including lectures and interactions in common areas. These recordings may be archived
and used for educational and commercial purposes. By attending, Registrant consents
to RIM's global and perpetual use of his or her name, photograph, image, likeness,
recorded voice and statements ("Information") in whole or in part, in all media
and/or distribution formats, now known and hereafter developed for any lawful purpose,
including but not limited to marketing, advertising, publicity, educational, sales,
trade, and promotional purposes, with no right of approval and no right to compensation.
Registrant releases and discharges RIM from and against any and all claims, damages,
costs and/or other liability arising from or relating to use of the Information.
RIM shall be the exclusive owner of any and all rights, title and interest, including,
without limitation, copyright, electronic and distribution rights, in and to any
materials containing the Information created by or on behalf of RIM, in any form.
(B)RIM reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend these Registration
Terms & Conditions to remedy administrative, including without limitation, typographical
errors.

(E)This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws
of the State of New York and the laws of the United States of America applicable
therein. Each Party hereto irrevocably waives any objection on the grounds of venue,
forum non-conveniens or any similar grounds and irrevocably consents to service
of process by mail or in any other manner permitted by applicable law and consents
to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of New York.

related trademarks, names and logos are the property of Research In Motion Limited
and are registered and/or used in the U.S. and countries around the world. Wi-Fi
is a trademark of the Wi-Fi Alliance. All other brands, product names, company names,
trademarks, and service marks are the properties of their respective owners.
